About my guru Smt Aparna Dhulipala Garu
Smt Aparna Dhulipala garu is a renowned Kuchipudi dancer, known for her energetic and passionate performances. Her dedication to the art form is evident in her deep understanding of both the theoretical and technical aspects of Kuchipudi.
Aparna Garu began her training at the age of 8 under the esteemed guidance of Guru Dr. Ardhanareeswaram Venkat (Sri Mudapaka Venkateswara Rao), completing her Certificate and Diploma courses with him. She furthered her academic pursuits with a Masters in Performing Arts (Kuchipudi) from the University of Hyderabad, followed by a Ph.D. in Dance under the mentorship of Prof. Anuradha (Jonnalagadda) Tadakamalla.
Beyond her artistic endeavors, Aparna Garu holds an MBA from M.P. Birla Institute of Management, Bangalore, and possesses professional experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant.
A recipient of the "A" Grade Artiste title from National Doordarshan Kendra and a Gold Medalist at the 7th National Youth Festival, Aparna Garu has garnered significant recognition for her exceptional talent. Her mastery lies in her captivating Abhinaya (expressive acting) and intricate Nritta (pure dance), showcasing the nuances of the Kuchipudi tradition.
Aparna Garu has graced numerous stages in India and abroad, captivating audiences with her powerful portrayals of diverse characters such as Parvati, Alamelumanga, Durga, and Satyabhama. She actively engages in workshops and seminars, sharing her knowledge and experience through teaching and writing, further enriching the vibrant world of Kuchipudi.


I am Srinika Yallapragada, a dedicated student of Kuchipudi deeply passionate about the art form. I hold a certification in Kuchipudi from Pottisriramulu University in India, further solidifying my commitment to this ancient tradition.
From the moment I began my journey into the world of Kuchipudi eight years ago, I was captivated by its ability to weave intricate narratives through movement and expression. This profound connection to storytelling has been a driving force throughout my dance practice. I believe that Kuchipudi, with its rich history rooted in dance-drama, offers a unique and powerful medium for conveying emotions and exploring human experiences. I have had the privilege of performing at esteemed venues such as Shilparamam, Harihara Kala Bhavan, Heritage Tower Temple, and Vijayawada Kanaka Durga Temple.
